Philadelphia is home to a robust social media and tech community. Many of Philadelphia’s finest are in the intersection of social media and social good. We call these unique individuals, changemakers. And for those who blog, ChangeBloggers.
Join us as we gather to connect and strengthen our community of bloggers, podcasters and vloggers who are using their platform to make the world a better place.
This mean YOU - whether you are a public advocate, work in public health, at a non-profit, volunteer, read about doing good, want to learn how to do more, work in environmental health, further education, etc. This includes you and your colleagues as we are working to cross sectors and unite as changemakers and changebloggers.
Highlights:
Alex Steed, from NetSquared, is embarking on a 25-city tour to meet with millennial changemakers and shakers. He will be around to listen to how Philadelphia's changemakers are making this world a better place, and how they are doing it.
Brazen Careerist Bloggers, many of which are socially forward, will be in attendance to connect with Alex and fellow Philadelphia changemakers.
You, whether you're a non-profit worker, social media marketer, weekend volunteer or are simply interested in learning how to strengthen your community through new media-- you will serve as a resource to learn how our generation is working for change

My name is Kathrin Ivanovic. I am a local freelance writer and speaker on cultural diversity and transnational race relations. I am passionate about strengthening relationships and facilitating cooperation and support among other groups who are working to eradicate racism and improve opportunities for all People of Color.
However, this event is not about me. It's not about you. It's about our community, uniting together, to send the message that social media can, and does, do good.
